oh my...how time has gotten away from me...
i haven't updated this in over a year...
my bad.
well...lately the Lord has been teaching me about His faithfulness...He is so faithful!
i look back at my life...even just in the past year and i am amazed at how different my life is...at how different i am...i am growing...maybe not as fast or as much as i would like but i am gettin there...in His grace and timing...
He has blown me away with His grace and restoration...and His faithfulness...
i can't help but thank Him!!!
i constantly stand back in awe of Him...
if you are in a season of uncertainty or struggle...know that this too shall pass...and that what ever comes our way will make us stronger in the end...i know from personal experience...Papa is faithful and will always be there...you will look back as i look back and say..."how did i get through that? how did i get from there, a place of hurt and pain, to here, a place of healing and love?!!!"

to be a reflection of Jesus on the cross...

so today i was thinking about how Jesus died on the cross for me( a good thing to think about) and i was thinking about how he did not want to die but he did it for his Father and for us! i was so blown away by his love this morning and how he gave up his desires for us!!

we, as the bride of Christ are called to be a reflection of Jesus on that cross! one who is so willing to surrender their preferences for the will of God! to surrender their own desires for others! this is one thing that i have been tested with a lot lately! but the Lord has opened up my eyes to see that when i give up my own desires or preferences for others that i should be doing it in worship to Him!

to lay down my life daily, even in just the little things, and to want to be a reflection of Jesus on that cross! and i know that Jesus does not regret giving his life up for us one bit, so i am sure that we will not regret giving up our desires and preferences for others!!! Papa will always take care of us and make everything work together for our good!!

aren't you so happy that we serve a God who loves us and takes care of us! have a blessed day full of Jesus!!

well the year has come and gone and i am now a Sold Out alumni! it is the craziest thing!! i still don't think i have fully grasped the fact that i am done with S.O. i feel as though we are just on a break but we aren't! we are done! never again will i pick up my carpool and drive to school and hang out in the lounge. it is all too serial to me! i know that that season of life is over and a brand new one is beginning but i'm not sure i am ready for it! i am excited for this new season but i guess i didn't think it would come this quickly!!

well today i am eighteen and i never thought that i would be this emotional about it! for the past few days i have been reminded of my childhood and just my life and i have been so blessed!! i have been blessed with wonderful, amazing parents. with wonderful family and friends. and a relationship with Jesus! a few minutes ago i looked back at some posts from the past year and i was amazed at how much i have grown up. it scares me so much to think that next year i might not live here anymore and that i might be out on my own in another state!! i am officially scared of it but i know that my Jesus will take care of me and be with me the whole way!! so i am now and official "adult" now, but do i really have to grow up?!?!? well anyway, have a great day full of wonderful, beautiful, glorious Jesus!!!!

oh my gosh i can't believe that i haven't blogged since thanksgiving and even then it was only one post!!! so i don't blame you if you don't check my blog anymore!! my life has been completely hectic! there was thanksgiving break and then 3 weeks of school and now i am going into my second week of Christmas break!! then we go back on the 2nd of January!! im excited to get back to school, i miss everyone so much!! well last week was a very nice week. i just got to rest and spend time at home with my parents! i spent my whole week making Christmas presents and making candy. it was really fun! i have another busy week ahead so if i don't make it back on here, Merry Christmas and have a great New Year! may God bless you and your families in 2008!! i just know that it is going to be an amazing year full of His presence!! have a great day full of Jesus!!:)

It has been quite a busy couple of weeks! First was Extreme Week then Orientation Retreat. Then once we got back from the Retreat the boys went to Men's Camp and the girls had a Slumber Party!! (Yay!! We had so much fun!!) And then last night i went to a revival meeting in Stockton!! Which was totally amazing!! I honestly haven't been to a meeting that wild and fun in a really long time!! The guy speaking was John Crowder and he was so much fun!! I honestly love this guy!!! So that has been my last 2 weeks! I can't wait to start real class on Tuesday and get the year moven' along!! I am so excited for what God has planned for our class this year and for each of us individually!! I can't wait!! Remember that God is sooooooo good and have a great day full of Jesus!!!:)

Today was my last day at The Miladi Group. I am sad but also very excited about where i am headed!! My boss bought me cup cakes and a co-worker got me a purple ring pop!!! I was so happy!! My tongue was purple!!!:) Well tomorrow is my last day at my other job, nannying. I am going to miss "my boys"!! But Sold Out starts in less than 2 days!! I am soooooooo excited and nervous!!!!!

I have recently discovered that my life is going to change tremendously in this next year. And i can't wait to see how i turn out!!

I have never been one for change. I can remember crying to my dad at 10 years old saying that i didn't want things to change. But if nothing ever changed i would still be 10 and not be who i am now. I have learned that in order to become who we are in Christ we MUST change! We must go through cleansing, purging, and trials to get closer to God!

So just as an encouragement to all who read this, change is good and apart of God's perfect will for all of our lives. Even though it may be difficult, in the end it will bring us closer to Him! So embrace the changes that pop up in your life and remember that you are not alone! God bless and have a great day full of Jesus!!

Well i had a "little girls" slumber party last night with some younger girls from our church that i absolutely adore, Abbie and Allie Rollins, Millie and Mollie Givens and Julia Peasley! We had a great time swimming, eating, doing hair and of course talking about all the boys that they like!! (which is quite a lot!) We had so much fun and i am so glad that i got to spend some time with these girls before i go into Sold Out! I truly love these girls so much and love spending time with them, even when it gets super CRAZY!! Summer of Love and more...

My parents and i went to San Fran yesterday to The Summer of Love Tour. It was a gathering of Jesus people at Golden Gate Park to worship and interceed for the city. It was so nice to just worship God in the park with the wind blowing every which way!! We should worship outside way more often!! Well they had lots of bands leading worship and some speakers leading in prayer, it was so amazing!! Things definitely shifted in the Spirit!

Then my parents and i went to an old burger joint that we love, on El Camino Real and went to the movies near the town we used to live in. Let me just say that The Bourne Ultimatum is awesome!! If you haven't seen it already you should go soon! After the movie we drove by our old apartment building and talked about the "old days". Its crazy that we lived there 6 years ago, and i can still remember everything so clearly! Well we didn't get home till 1am but we had a blast! Its times like those, with just my parents and me, that i am going to miss this next year!

The question i get asked the most is, "Have you ever straightened your hair?". I can't help but laugh when people ask me this question. Of course i have straightened my hair before, plenty of times! But the reason i don't do it that often is because i love my curls!! So here is a peek at what i look like with straight hair.

I straightened it today because i was bored. I like it but i do miss my curly locks! After i straightened my hair i could see that i really need to get it colored again and get it trimmed, bad!! Its amazing what straight hair reveals that curly hair hides! I'll let it last for two days and then i will wash it and have my curly mop back!! Hooray!:)

High School Senior Trip...

Yesterday was the senior trip to San Fran. We had a blast! Only two of us seniors went, but we had a great time! We ate at the Cheesecake Factory and went shopping around. We also took a drive around the Golden Gate Park, (what we could find of it). Riding around in San Fran in a limo with Paul driving is a very interesting thing! Lets just say i almost peed my pants because i was laughing so hard!!:) Well here are some pics! Hope you have a great day full of Jesus!!

I love how all we have to do is talk about the things of God and He shows up!! I got to work this morning feeling "blah" and my boss noticed it. She asked me what was wrong and i just shared with her that i have had a crummy couple of weeks and that all i really want is more of Jesus, intimacy with Him!! So we started talking about the things of the Lord and just telling testimonies of what He has done in our lives and how much fun Holy Spirit is. And the atmosphere changed! I found myself totally pumped and full of Joy!! I love how when we just talk about Him and the things He has done it changes the atmosphere. So if you are having a crummy day just remember the things that He has done for you and speak them out! Just talk about Him and He will change everything around you!!

Do you ever find yourself in a place of total confusion? On a journey and you can't possibly see where you are headed. I have recently been on one of these journeys and quite frankly am still finding my way through it. But i am reminded of a dream i had a while back. I was running up these bleachers and they suddenly changed into "floating" planks of wood. They were steps but were not connected to each other. Each step had engravings on it. And they were beautiful, hand crafted. And once i came to the wood steps i was in the sky, with clouds all around me. I had been running up these stairs for so long and i was getting really tired. I stopped for a moment and thought to myself, "i am never going to get there, this staircase is never ending." The "there" i was talking about was heaven, the throne room, Jesus!! Then i heard the voice of the Lord say, "Don't you want me?" And i said, " Yes, but..." Then i realized that even though i was tired and weary i had to keep going, because i can't survive without seeing more of Him!

God i beckoning us, he is calling us and wooing us. We have to be desperate enough to push through the hardships and the pain to meet with Him. I have been in a time of confusion and a feeling of being lost in what He has for me. But i know that if i push through and persevere He will fulfill His promises. He is faithful and will not disappoint us.

Man it has been forever it seems like since i have blogged! I have been busy with my 2 jobs! Yes i have 2 summer jobs and am so excited! I am trying to save as much money as i can for my tuition to Sold Out. So when i got offered another job i took it! I prayed about it and saw it as God was wanting to bless me with even more money. And i am totally fine with working for it! So i am babysitting during the day and working at The Miladi Group 3 evenings a week! I am having so much fun!

So here are some pics from the 4th of July! My parents and i went to the church for the BBQ and then we went to Colusa for pizza and fireworks with our family. I love spending time with my cousin, she is so silly! Well i hope everyone else had a great 4th!

Home has never felt sweeter!! I am finally home from vacation!! I got home on Sat. evening. We had a great time at Disney World and Universal Studios, but i am so glad to be home!! Well what a long week it has been!! I had 3 graduations to go to last week including mine!! Here are some pictures from Issac's grad party! I find it funny that i didn't get any pictures of him!:) The Farrar family got me a Ninja Turtles T-shirt for my graduation!! I was so excited!! I love the ninja turtles!! I don't have any pictures from my graduation yet but as soon as i get some i will post them!

And then i was at a conference all last week in Rocklin!! It was so good! Todd Bentley spoke and God totally showed up!!! On wed. night a group of us went and at the end they had prayer for healing so Issac went up and got prayer for his back and he was healed!! He took off his brace and was bending and twisting! All things he couldn't do before!! Now he doesn't have to wear the brace anymore!! Isn't God Awesome!! Here is a picture i took that night with him holding his brace!!

Well i am fighting a cold or something right now! I was supposed to be going to work at the Colusa County Fair today until Sunday but my wonderful mother went in my stead!! I love her so much!! So i am home today sick and tired! I will be staying home tomorrow too just to rest so i can go to work on Thursday! I feel so much better today compared to yesterday and was planing to go to work tomorrow but my mother said "no, that i should rest for one more day". The Sold Out group left last night!! I am so excited for them! I know they are going to have a great time!! I am going to miss them tremendously though!! As i was standing at the church last night saying my goodbyes i couldn't help but think that in one year i will be the one getting on the bus and going to the airport to fly away to some foreign country!! WOW!! That is really scary! I am so nervous and excited about next year!! Just three months until it begins!! I got a few pics of my sisters last night before they left!! Well on sat. night after the play Rebekah Law spent the night and we just hung out and talked till 2:30 in the morning! We look so tired in these pictures!:) it was so fun just being silly girls!! Well i haven't been on here for a while. Last week was pure craziness! It definitely wasn't the best week i've ever had! But God is so good and blesses me even when i have terrible days! Isn't He amazing! Well last night i got my senior pictures taken by the lovely Danielle! It was allot of fun! Just being silly! Here is Annaka and her brother Zac. They were having a contest to see who could fit the most grapes in their mouth! It was so funny, Annaka was gagging and was about to throw them all up but i just had to get a picture of it!! I think Zac won with 22 grapes but Annaka's face is priceless!!

Hospital visit...

Well i went to see Issac in the hospital yesterday. He is doing way better than he was the day before!! Thank God! I totally forgot to take pictures... Sorry:( They are hopefully releasing him today. He has a back brace he has to wear for 2-3 months. And guess what.... his back isn't broken!! It is only a fracture! Praise the Lord!! I love how God totally turns bad for good!! Well Issac said he might make it to church tonight depending on how he feels!! Well please keep praying for him! And really be praying for Eric he isn't doing to good! Jesus please send your healing presence to come and overflow these boys!!

I don't know what i would do without Paul and Danielle!! They made me feel so much better after everything that had happened this week. Paul was so calm and collected during everything and the Lord helped him so much. Danielle was so calming and relaxing when i was around her and she made me feel a lot better!! They are wonderful youth pastors and i thank the Lord that they are here with us!!! ( and Paul's mohawk is kick-butt!! I am so jealous!) In this picture with Paul i was sitting behind him in the truck and i gave him a wet willy and he freaked and had Danielle get him some TP to clean his ear out. It was so funny! Well camping was very strange ! I don't have time to go into all the stuff that happened but the first night one of the guys, Eric, had to be rushed to the hospital because he was in such intense pain. The doctors still can't find out what is wrong with him. Then the second day Eric and Issac were climbing up the side of a mountain and Eric made it to the top but Issac slipped and fell about 50ft. I watched him fall and am still amazed by the whole thing. He is my best guy friend and watching him fall and seeing his body go limp was so scary! I am so thankful that God saved him and that he didn't get hurt any more than he already is. He is really scraped up and part of his lower back is broken. He also had a head injury and had to get 4 or 5 stitches. Here are some pictures of Issac on the mountain. He got 2 helicopters and tons of paramedics. I only got a few pictures because my camera was full. The first one is where he was before he fell ( Issac is in the green)and then the second one is where he finally stopped after he fell. The other 2 are of the helicopters. I get to go see him today and am pretty nervous. I got to go up and see him yesterday on our way home and it was so hard. He was just laying there in so much pain and i couldn't do anything but pray. I know that God has so much planned for his life and i know that God will protect him and heal him. Please be praying for Issac and Eric! God thank you for saving their lives!

Well tomorrow i am leaving to go camping for a few days!!! I am going camping with 7Fold, a discipleship class with my youth group. So i will finally have some more pictures to put up! We are going to the beach and just hanging out, getting to know each other more and spend time with God!!! It is going to be awesome!! Well it has been a long time since i blogged! I have been so busy with school and dinner theater. I have been serving at the dinner theater all week and tonight is the last show!! It is so funny!! I can't get over it! I laugh every time!! Well God is working alot in my life! He is reveling new anointing and new burdens!! It is really hard but i know it is going to be so wonderful in the end!! Yesterday a bunch of my friends and i went to a conference in Sacramento put together by International House of Prayer(IHOP) , Kansas City. The conference is Onething. Last night was a good night. I got to spend time with my good friends and talk to them. We played pool and ate cheezits and casadillas. How fun is that! I love my friends! This morning i had brunch with the Sold Out leadership. All the people who are planning on doing Sold Out next year went. We had fun just talking and eating! I am very excited for next year. I know God is going to do amazing things in my life and in my classmate's lives. Oh... my cousin went to the Superior Region FFA Officer Interviews and out of 33 candidates she was nominated for the office of Vice President!!! GO KYLIE!!!!!!!!! My cousin is super smart!! I just love her so much!!

A Big Fam

Yesterday i went to a friends house and a bunch of us just hung out. We all made dinner together and had a blast. There were probably 7 of us in the kitchen all in each others way. Then we all sat at the dinner table and had dinner like a real family. It was so fun! I am so going to have a big family. Lots of kids just running around the house and then making dinner together and eating it together. Its just so cute! Then we all watched a movie and sprawled out all over the living room. We watched, Facing the Giants. I recommend that everyone see it. It is hard to get into at the beginning, kind of cheesy, but it has such an amazing story. God totally speaks through the movie. Well, today my Poppy went to the doctor for the results of his last tests. (The tests were to see how far along the cancer was and how bad it was.) I guess the cancer is the best kind to treat. That it will be treatable by a few radiation treatments!! Praise God!! I am so thakfull that it isn't really bad. Please continue to pray for him and my family. Thanks so much!

Hey, well i haven't posted all week cause i've been really busy. There just doesn't seem to be enough time in a day. Today i was at school from 9-3:30, i run home for a while, then am at dance till 8:30. And by the time i get home my parents are in bed so i never get to see them. Maybe God is preparing me for next year because i won't be at home.? (But i miss my mommy and daddy!)

This weekend has been really good! Right now i am serving at a dinner and am waiting to be done so i can go to John Mark's house for a prayer meeting. Last night after church i went to his house and Candace and i danced and skipped down his whole street. To make it even better it was raining!! It was so wonderful!! Jesus is so amazing! JESUS!! Boy do I Love that guy!! He is so amazing. Last night was really awesome. Major breakthrough happened in so many areas. I got to talk to a friend about some stuff that was bothering me about our relationship, I got to repent and ask God to forgive me and He definitely did some works in me, and I got some major encouragement and prophesies! When I get the CD of the prophesies I'll write them out for you! It amazes me that God thinks so much about me and has such big plans for my life! I don't understand!! Last night was fun! I had people over for my birthday. We just hung out and watched the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. And Laura Peasley made her FAMOUS brownies that are to die for! I had everyone pray over me which was FUN. The temperature in the room seriously went up degrees! It was crazy! I have amazing friends and I am so blessed to have them in my life. First Dance

There is a Misty Edwards song that talks about a first dance when you fall in love with God. I just wanted to tell you about my first dance. It was when I was going through a really DRY time in life and God totally gave me a breakthrough, all I had to do was listen and obey.
So one night during worship at youth group I went into the back of the sanctuary and sat down on the floor. I was just praying and I heard God tell me to get up and DANCE. I was like, WHAT? I don't know what to do. (I've taken ballet for years but have never really danced for Him during worship) I heard Him again say,"Get up and dance." So I got up and started to dance. Just basic stuff but dancing JUST for Him. Then my friend Issac says don't stop dancing because there is an angel dancing with you. It was so amazing to just dance for God and not even care about anything else. It even encouraged another one of my friends to start dancing and she has no dance experience. After that it has been breakthrough after breakthrough. Right now while I'm going through a hard time I look back and remember that if I listen and obey He will get me through. Just to encourage anyone who might be going through a hard time like me trust in God and listen and obey. :) JESUS LOVES YOU
